MONTREAL (Quebec), July 5 2007 - Alphinat Inc. (TSX-VN : NPA) is pleased to announce that the Quebec ministère des Services gouvernementaux recently acquired a government license to use the Alphinat SmartGuide suite of products. Through this acquisition, the SmartGuide suite will now be available for any Quebec government department or agency wishing to implement on-line solutions that will enable single-entry-point access to their various services.

Alphinat software products were used to build the company start-up path available at the government's business services portal.

Demonstrable results have been achieved since the service was launched. Prior to its implementation, a proponent wishing to open a business would spend two weeks, on average, identifying all of the required formalities. With the use of SmartGuide, this timeframe has been reduced to a few minutes and virtually all errors eliminated.
