MONTREAL (Quebec), January 14 2009 - Alphinat Inc. (TSX-VN : NPA) announces changes to its board of directors.

Mr Benoit Ste-Marie, Manager at Secor-Taktik, was nominated as a Director of the Company in replacement of Mr. Louis J. Duhamel, also from Secor-Taktik. Alphinat would like to thank Mr. Duhamel for the quality of the services he has rendered to the company over the course of his tenure as Director.

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Ste-Marie as a member of the Alphinat team. Mr. Ste-Marie has 10 years of experience as a marketing specialist, creating and implementing business development plans. Holder of a master's degree in technology transfer from the ESC Rouen (France) and a master's degree in marketing from l'Université de Sherbrooke (Quebec), Mr. Ste-Marie has taught marketing and management. He also holds a certificate in organisational development and e-business, subjects that he is often called upon to work on as a consultant. Mr. Ste-Marie has held various positions in sales and marketing for a major financial institution.
