SmartGuide® to enable Canadian workplace compensation board to increase flexibility, respond to customer needs and services more quickly while providing an enhanced customer service experience.

Ontario’s Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB), a leading workplace compensation board, and Alphinat Inc. (TSX: NPA), a provider of flexible portal development platform for the user interaction layer for Web and mobile to enterprises today announced that WSIB has selected SmartGuide® PaaS Edition as its new development platform for e-services with a major professional services firm, who will lead the implementation project, with the WSIB and Alphinat working in close collaboration.

The WSIB is replacing its internally built systems to gain flexibility and allow it to respond more quickly to business changes, including meeting the demands of a distributed mobile environment and be ready for next generation platforms. WSIB has introduced SmartGuide as part of a major organizational transformation, with a goal to modernize systems and processes across WSIB. SmartGuide will also help WSIB modernize its business process and offer electronic services that will make doing business easier for the WSIB’s customers and staff.

  • More easily and quickly respond to system changes.
